streetcar

a Toronto streetcar
506 Carlton
travels from Main Street subway station 
along Gerrard St to Carlton St which changes name to College St
and ends at High Park
then turns around for the 15 km (9 miles)
back to Main Street

I am always happy to see functioning streetcars. They are rare these days even though they are a great way to travel around a city.

Lovely design. Our trams often are covered in colourful advertisements - shows in melbourne or travel temptations especially.

Golly I haven't been on a bus for many years. Growing up in the city we practically lived on the buses. Down town had streetcars too.
